Gas masks are apparel items in Fallout: FROST.
Overview[]
Gas masks are pieces of headgear that will allow a Survivor to traverse the surface of the Commonwealth without taking damage from the permanent, potentially deadly ambient radiation.
Different variations of gas masks may provide different levels of protection from additional hazards, but wearing one will lower the Survivor's perception.
Alas, no amount of radiation resistance can replace the effects of reducing permanent surface ambient radiation like a proper gas mask.
Gas mask models[]
While the radiation resistance of a gas mask will add to the Survivor's overall radiation resistance, the following gas mask models will in addition reliably filter out ambient surface radiation.

- A military gas mask may be found on a corpse at the highway starting location (the right door)
- A Laughing gas mask is located next to a terminal in Sunshine Tidings
- A Bullets n' Bones gas mask is situated in an expert locked, barred cage in Downtown
- The Bozo gas mask as well as the Porky Gas Mask is occasionally available at vendors in Downtown
- Rough gas masks can be found on members of different factions
